Nancy’s formal education and experience is as diverse as the population and specialties that she supports. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Special Education, Master’s Degrees in both Child and Applied Psychology as well as Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder. This strong educational background afforded Nancy practical experience in a range of roles throughout her career - be it grief counsellor, special education teacher, or board consultant for a school district to ensure inclusive practices and programming. Nancy consistently demonstrates effective results in connecting with, advocating for, and empowering the families she feels privileged to meet.

In her current role at Moroz Child Psychology Group, Nancy is honoured to guide children and adolescents through comprehensive support whether by way of formal assessment or meaningful engagement using individual therapy. Her deep insight of the cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of child development informs practical application strategies when working with individuals with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and other related challenges. Always leading with a collaborative approach, Nancy ensures that the continuity of care for your child is consistent and stable, understanding her role to also sometimes serve as a liaison for parents seeking school or community aid. This holistic approach shapes the future of the children she serves.

Nancy is passionate about making a child feel like they are the most important person in the room - deserving tailored focus and attention through her energetic warmth. She looks forward to welcoming you!
