I founded the Moroz Child Psychology Group in 2003, where I lead a team dedicated to helping children and families thrive. My upbringing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, shaped my career—my mother’s Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis fostered a deep sense of empathy for families facing complex challenges.
With an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg and a Master’s in School Psychology from the University of Calgary, I’ve spent nearly 30 years specializing in complex psychoeducational assessments and treatments. My practice focuses on nuanced cases, including advanced cognitive therapy for ADHD (e.g., managing boredom, improving routines, and achieving goal-directed behavior), complex OCD, perfectionism in gifted children, and teaching perspective-taking and flexible thinking. I also provide guidance to parents of children with defiance and compliance issues, equipping them with effective tools and strategies.
I’ve led multi-disciplinary teams supporting children with Autism and other social-communication challenges. I also developed Moroz Child Psychology’s renowned social skills programs, helping children build self-awareness and refine their social interactions through innovative methods like role-playing and video feedback.
Recognized as a leader in my field, I’ve contributed to shaping best practices in ASD diagnosis, presented at major conferences, and trained educators across Alberta. Outside of work, I’m an adventure traveler, sports enthusiast, and proud father, always striving to embrace new challenges and growth.
